P.E Class this week January 25-29, 2016
I Would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E.class:
– No dresses for the girl
– No jeans
– No crocks
– No Sandals
– No boots
-No Converse(All Stars)
Children who are not wearnig the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E class.
Goals: We will use the word R. E. S. P. E. C. T. to set the main goals for the year.
R – Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!
E – Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.
S – Safety – The number one priority each and every day!
P – Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

During this week we will be doing a review. on the basics of volleyball in order to evaluate.
We are wrapping up our unit on Revolution. On Monday, we will review the American Revolution by playing the game, Road to Liberty. You will also need to complete the section assessment for homework. On Tuesday, we will create your study guide for the test, we will review on Wednesday, and you will test on Thursday.

Answer the questions about Romeo and Juliet in Act I and share questions and answers on a Google Doc. Use your book to answer the questions. You may work with ONE other peer, but you must include both names on the Google Doc. This should be completed during class time. You will be graded on completion. Homework: Study Vocab sets 2 &3 from last week; finish Romeo and Juliet Questions

Lunes 25 entrega a primera hora de los proyectos del Quijote. En clase explicarán sus capítulos.
Martes 26 estaremos estudiando la literatura barroca.
Tarea: para el martes 26 llevar impresas tres imágenes una de arquitectura, pintura y escultura barroca. (a colores y tamaño mediano).
Miércoles deberán llevar el libro de ortografía con los ejercicios de las páginas asignadas y su respectivo diccionario para trabajar en clase.
Jueves 28 será el tercer control de lectura de los capítulos XXI – XXX. Tomen nota son 12 capítulos los que tendrán que leer.
Viernes 29 no tendremos clases porque irán al campamento
Soft Pastel Flowers
Students will continue working on their Soft Pastel Flower Project. They will use the elements of color and line to create the principles of harmony and unity. Students may bring a Q-tip of or a paper stump to help them blend the colors together. The due date for this project is Thursday the 28th.
