NINETH GRADE:

During this week, the students will continue working in the basic concepts of soccer and they will develop the following fundamental skills: shooting, passing, receiving, and goalkeeping. Students will put this knowledge to test in games. During the week, the students will have a fitness test.

REMINDER:

I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

In order to participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

 

GOALS: 

We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

Español del 31 de octubre al 4 de noviembre

Lunes 31 entrega a las 8:00  del ensayo del Roldán. Presentaciones del Renacimiento español.

Martes 1 de noviembre  será la asignación de proyecto de personificación de autores medievales y renacentistas en clase se darán las instrucciones para la presentación del mismo, este proyecto se presentará el lunes 7 de noviembre.


Martes trabajarán en los cuestionarios del tema del Renacimiento.

 Miércoles  tendrán tiempo para trabajar en su proyecto de autores. Para este proyecto se calificarán los siguientes aspectos: vestuario de acuerdo a su escritor, dominio de información, preparación y creatividad. 

Jueves 3 llevar el libro de ortografía para trabajar en clase. 

Viernes 4 trabajarán en ortografía.

ELA Oct 31-Nov 4

We will continue our poetry unit by reading the novels Crossover and Bronx Masquerade. Each day we will begin by analyzing a poem or spoken word performance together as a class, and then you will split up into your literature circles. You should be documenting your interactive reading in your notebooks, as well as your poetry for the portfolios.
