Physical Education January 30-February 3, 2017

 

NINETH GRADE:

During this week, the students will be have test of the fundamentals skills in the basic concepts of volleyball.and they will develop the following fundamental skills: serving, blocking, passing and spike. Students will put this knowledge to test in games. During the week, the students will have a fitness test

REMINDER:

I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

In order to participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

 

GOALS: 

We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

Safety – The number one priority each and every day!

Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

ELA Jan 30-Feb 3

We will continue to read A Midsummer’s Night  Dream this week and should finish Act 2 and Act 3 this week. Make sure you are doing your nightly readings and preparing for the in-class readings for your individual characters. You will have the ACT 1 test on Tuesday, January 31st.
